Sustainable Buildings Canada invites you to a recurring series of webinars highlighting products that will help reduce energy and water consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions. This product knowledge webinar will feature a new heat pump system from Mitsubishi and building integrated photovoltaic systems from Mitrex.
Please join us on May 20th at 1:00 PM (EDT) for presentations from Suzanne Wiltshire & Chris DesRoches of Mitsubishi and Dejan Vrljic of Mitrex.
REDUCING CARBON EMISSIONS AND OPERATING COSTS WITH AIR-TO-WATER HEAT PUMPS
As Canada goes down the path to Net-Zero in our Buildings, we don’t need to look too far into the future to see the benefit of utilizing better combinations of technologies in our building designs. Air-to-Water Heat Pumps are an innovative technology that will be instrumental in contributing to meeting Canada’s climate change targets as we seek low-carbon alternatives to traditional hydronic heating systems utilizing fossil-fuels.
MITREX PAVES THE WAY FOR A SMART SELF-SUSTAINABLE CITY
The exponential growth of metropolitan populations coupled with urbanization has led to an increase in the demand for new infrastructure. These same drivers are also causing a higher electricity demand. However, in urban areas, sources of electricity are insufficient to meet the demand. To address these limitations, Mitrex has produced solar modules that are seamlessly integrated into the building envelope and its components, such as facades, railings and windows.
